2024年以来，重庆市人力社保局推进农民工就业创业、权益维护、城市融入等重点服务工作。全市793.6万农民工就业态势保持总体稳定，农民工转移就业基本实现“应转尽转”。其中，市内就业538.1万人，占比67.8%；市外就业255.5万人，占比32.2%。此外，各级各部门还合力做好农民工工作，推动农民工与本地居民同等享有子女教育、住房保障等基本公共服务，每年有超过20万农民工落户城镇。
